Iron Maiden's Steve Harris Selling English Country Home for Big Bucks

Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris is selling Sheering Hall, his substantial home in the English countryside. Harris, 56, is asking for $10,805,000 for the abode. Make that "estate." You can check out photos of the gorgeous, inviting property, which is a medieval country house, parts of which date back to 1427, here.

It's a steep price tag, but it's also quite a stunning piece of property that appears to be worth its list price.

Some of the high points? It has a gated entrance, 11,000 square feet of space and period features throughout. There are eight bedrooms, a sitting room, a drawing room and a carved fireplace with wood burner. There is an indoor, heated pool, which is bespoke. There is also a separate, three bedroom coach house.

One of the amenities Maiden fans would most appreciate and enjoy? There is a private and fully-equipped pub, dubbed 'The Horse and Cart,' on the grounds, where ale is one tap.
