Nikki Sixx Engaged: Courtney Bingham to Marry Mötley Crüe Rocker

Nikki Sixx is set to tie the knot once again. The 53-year-old Mötley Crüe bassist has announced his engagement to 27-year-old model/entrepreneur, Courtney Bingham.

"When Courtney and I were in St Bart's [sic] I popped the question and she said YES," Nikki revealed in a Facebook post last night (Nov. 26). "We would like to thank everybody who has been tweeting and posting online us congratulations....Both of us and our families are beyond happy....."

Apparently, Nikki popped the question in style. According to TMZ, the proposal included a candle-lit stroll on the beach and dinner in a rose petal-filled tent. TMZ has obtained a photo of Courtney's stunning new 6-carat diamond engagement ring.

Nikki and Courtney started dating back in November 2010. This will be Nikki's third trip down the aisle. He was married to Playboy Playmate Brandi Brandt from May 1989 to November 1996, and the couple had three children together. The same year of his divorce from Brandt, Nikki wed Playboy Playmate and actress Donna D'Errico, with whom he fathered another child. The couple divorced in June 2007.

Of course this marriage won't last. I'm sure Nikki could care less if it lasts - he will get what he wants out of it until she leaves. Hope he has a pre-nupt.

Actually, I think Sixx is 55 years old.
It seems like he's stuck in his 20's, emotionally.
Nonetheless, I imagine he hopes for a happy marriage & I hope this works out for him.
Her motives seem more suspect to me.

They (He ?) used to own a condo in the same building as my grandmother , (818 N Doheny Dr). They were always friendly, considerate , approachable and conversational. Good luck to them.
