"Cutting vocals today! Some inspiration! #Jesus and #ClintEastwood," Mustaine tweeted yesterday with an accompanying photo. The tweet shows a picture with a crucifix and an image of Eastwood portraying Josey Wales in the 1976 Western film The Outlaw Josey Wales. Meanwhile, a lyrics sheet on the right is titled "Forget to Remember," a possible working title for a song.
Mustaine also took some time to take in Les Miserables, the new motion picture starring Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman. The film is getting plenty of Oscar buzz and the singer seemed to agree.
"Saw @LesMiserables last night," Mustaine tweeted earlier today. "If @RealHughJackman doesn't get nominated for an #Oscar I will be surprised. He was superb!"
Mustaine is also in the process of moving his studio, Vic's Garage in San Marcos, California to another location in 2013. According to the band's site, the move means there will be a "huge clearance" of studio gear and audio equipment placed on the band's official eBay site soon, including guitars and plenty of other items.
Megadeth will reportedly release their new studio album -- with producer Johnny K -- sometime in early 2013. The album is the follow-up to 2011's TH1RT3EN.
