Danko Jones Give Us 5 Reasons Why You Should See Them on Tour
Adrenaline PR
Known for their hard-edged yet hooky songwriting chops, Danko Jones will be out in support of Rock and Roll Is Black and Blue, their sixth studio album.
The 2-band bill will be a hot ticket this spring, but Danko knows that money is still tight for a lot of people out there. With that in mind, they've sent us a list of 5 reasons why Noisecreep Nation should check them out on tour this spring.
1. You can't download us. Sure you can download our records, watch YouTube clips etc. but Jobs and Gates were never able to figure out how to download the live experience. We'll bring that experience to you.
2. Rock is maligned and reviled. In today's music environment, where groups shuffle out in neat and tidy clothes and sing songs about neat and tidy things, Rock is seen as the underdog - a lascivious, low-brow sullen underdog. Who doesn't want to root for the underdog?
3. Volume keeps the blood clean. Too many people talk about the deafening effects of loud volume but I call bullshit. Even if you do go deaf, it's a nice and natural way to filter out people's prattling.
4. You might get lucky. Any social situation can be seen as a possible lead to a future liaison. Our shows make for these situations. You just might meet your future ex wife/husband the night you come out and see us.
5. We're the best live band in the world. Now mind you, I've never ever seen us live but I've been told it's the best show on the planet.
