Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda Teams Up With the Grammys to Mentor Young Artists (VIDEO EXCLUSIVE)

Shinoda is no stranger to the Grammys as his band has won two shiny awards already. He's also no stranger to helping out new artists and so his role as the ambassador and curator of the program makes total sense.
The way it works is, musicians simply share their tracks via Soundcloud.com and then they will have a chance to have their music judged by a panel of musical icons. The Centerstage panel will then choose three artists and award the following prizes:
- A recording session with a leading Grammy producer
- Production of a music video with the noted producer and/or director
- An opening act performance slot and a major tour or music Festival.
Noisecreep had the chance to speak with Shinoda about his interest in helping the next generation of musical artists.
