Black Veil Brides End Tour With Triumphant Hometown Show (PHOTOS)

It's already been a huge year for the boys in black, what with the release of their third album, a rock opera entitled Wretched and Divine: the Story of the Wild Ones. The quintet also released a film called Legion of the Black that tells the visual story of the concept presented in the album.
The North American tour was one of the hottest tickets of the season and it was no surprise. BVB have come into their own with a headliner show that is truly take no prisoners type of affair. The ultra-faithful fan brigade, known as The BVB Army started lining up just after dawn on Saturday morning to assure spots up front. Noisecreep spoke with several kids that are driven hours to be in the presence of their favorite band.

William Control kicked the night off with an intense set of metallic electronica but the real screams were saved for when the lights went down at 9:30 PM and BVB took the stage, bathed and intense blue light.
The 15 song set kicked off with "I Am Bulletproof" from the new album and ran the gamut of the band's career. They also covered the Billy Idol anthem "Rebel Yell" and all but made it their own as the adoring, fist pumping crowd shook the house. The band was loose and seemed extra comfortable being back home, knowing this was the going to be the last show for a while.

And the crowd hung on every note. There is truly a special connection between BVB and its fan base as frontman Andy Biersack recently told Noisecreep. "If I'm being honest, I didn't have that sort of community. I grew up as a loner, but I set out to create a community with this band. Then they started to breathe life into it and they took it and ran with it. They created this amazing community and it's a really a nice relationship with the band – we help each other. One thing about our fans – they are not in this just for aesthetic value. They are radically affected, I think, by what we do, so we try to make sure all of our messages are perfectly clear."

For all of the hype, costuming and attitude, there is no doubt that these guys are the real deal and we are anxious to watch them continue to climb the hard rock and metal ranks.

Black Veil Brides have about a month off now before they head over to Europe and then return to the States for some festivals including the Warped Tour. They've certainly earned the rest and we look forward to catching up with these guys once they get back to our shores.
