Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! Singer Explains Their Love for 'The Goonies' (VIDEO)

Hailing from Paris, France, pop punk favorites Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! just kicked off their first U.S. headlining tour, a short, five show run that leads right into a couple of major tours supporting A Day to Remember and headlining with For All Those Sleeping and Upon This Dawning.

Good timing, too, because the band is about to release their sophomore album, Pardon My French, on April 30.

Noisecreep spoke with Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! frontman Bertrand Poncet last night (March 13) before the band played at the legendary punk rock landmark, Chain Reaction in Anaheim, Calif. We chatted about the new album, his favorite places in America - and where the band's unusual name came from - hint - do you know your '80s movies?
