Evanescence singer-pianist Amy Lee will always be a strong advocate of epilepsy awareness and education. Her brother, Robby, had his first seizure at age 8. Epilepsy is a medical condition that produces seizures affecting a variety of mental and physical functions. Lee became the American chairperson for Out of the Shadows in 2006. The specific campaign is over, but she continues to shed light on the disease.
