Iron Maiden

The band set up The Clive Burr MS Trust Fund in 1992 to help their old drummer (1979 to 1983), who played on Iron Maiden, Killers and Number of the Beast and toured with the band. Bassist Steve Harris also has a childhood friend with multiple sclerosis who has benefitted from the fund. The autoimmune disease affects the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). There is no cure.
