Billy Idol

Idol nearly lost his leg in 1990 after running a stop sign in Hollywood. The British star, who was driving a motorcycle, was hit by a car and had to have a steel rod placed in his leg. To make matters worse, Idol had been pegged to play the T-1000 character in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, but had to turn down the role after sustaining the injury.
