Slipknot is the metal world’s worst offender when it comes to injuries – their backstage area must look like a triage center. Known for having a live show that is practically violent in its energy and athleticism, the band members have sustained a number of injuries over the years, many of which have been self-inflicted. Some of the most creative ones include third degree burns inflicted by lighting themselves on fire and broken heels sustained from jumping off a 2-story stage. A couple of members have even gotten serious whiplash from headbanging. Despite the carnage, Slipknot still boasts the most physical live show you'll see anywhere.
