'Abigail,' King Diamond (1987)

One of the most cogent, complete, and powerful concept albums in the metal canon, King Diamond's 'Abigail' is masterful storytelling in its original form. In the hands of the right director, it would be a stunning film. In the hands of the wrong one, it could be a big mushy lump of Danish cheese. But really, this one has serious on-screen potential.
