'(Music From) The Elder,' KISS (1981)

A concept album dreamed up by Gene Simmons with all intentions of having it made into a film (hence the soundtrack-like title). It flopped and the band have brushed it under the rug ever since. Too bad, as it would make a fairly cool movie with plenty of soundtrack material to pull from. Interestingly, as of early 2012, Kiss fan Seb Hunter has committed to making a movie of this album, pending permission from the band and the usual funding hurdles.
