'Gods of War,' Manowar (2007)

Love some Manowar, but this album is a chore to sit through. The music gets lost in the drama, the choirs, the sound effects, the narrations and all sorts of other blah blah blah. But the concept, a convergence of war gods drawn from various mythologies, could work nicely as a feature length film. Too bad erstwhile Manowar guest Orson Welles (he appeared on two different Mano-albums) wouldn't be available to narrate.
