Megadeth, 'Rust in Peace.' One of few years when nominations where a mix of songs and albums. And there was really no contest here. Any given 30-second snippet of Megadeth's 'Rust in Peace' ruled over all other nominees put together, and it was a formidable and worthy list: Metallica, Judas Priest, Suicidal Tendencies and Anthrax.
