Who Should Have Won

Figures. They pick 'Spoonman,' the only crappy moment on an otherwise monumental album. Here's where the obvious pick sticks out like a sore thumb: Anthrax and Public Enemy, 'Bring the Noise.' Not because it was truly the "best metal performance" of all the nominees, but because of its undeniable impact. For better or worse it was the foundation for the nu-metal genre that emerged in the coming years.
