"This is actually a test shot for the Clown photo shoot above. As some know, Danny is also an INCREDIBLE photographer. So we get to photo-nerd anytime I see him. We were both shooting Slayer, I handed him a lens to try out and just told him to bring it to my set when he was done. He was looking into getting lighting, so I showed him my Dynalite Kit (which is what I use for all my shoots). I had him step in for a test shot before Clown would get there, and for one of the shots he made this ridiculous face, and the light hit it PERFECTLY and it just ended up being one of my favorite portraits of all time, even though it was just a fun test shot. This was F10 at a 160th. He ended up hanging out for the clown shoot and taking some behind the scenes shots while I photographed, but in the many photo shoots I’ve done with him (I think 6 or 7 by now?) this is by far my favorite image. Why take everything too seriously?"
