"This is what you call… a perfect mistake. It was another shot taken during my Rock and Shock portrait series. This time the left parabolic wasn’t fully flagged, so the light blasted him on his right side, giving his skin, accidental split toning. I ended up liking this shot more than the ones with perfect lighting because it sort of makes his right side look skeletal in nature while giving the image more of a horror style feel. This was one of those times where I wasn’t bummed out when something went slightly wrong on a solid photo. Shot at F8 at a 160th, I couldn’t ask for a more perfect mistake."
