Back to Jeremy Saffer's Favorite 2012 Photos

"I had done a few shoots with BTF in the past, but this time we wanted to do something really cool and conceptual. We wanted to go with G.I. Joe/war style for it. So I used almost the entire budget of the shoot getting props (the clothing) and renting real guns for this shoot. Two of my favorite shots from this were taken on a very steep hill. One assistant had to hold the light from falling as I had to boom it as high as it would go to even get it face level while I shot about neck deep down the hill. These were shot at F9 at a 200th to keep the sky darker. And back-to-back these shots were “WAR!!! Ok… CALM!!!”. Back to back these are two of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken of the band. Another image is going to be released as a 3D poster (with 3D glasses) in the near future though the band."
