"I had a cover assignment for Miss May I, and when I got the email, I was watching the movie, The Warriors. I instantly wanted to do a conceptual shoot with them. I was finishing off a bottle of sparkling cider (straight edge champagne), and thinking… we need to have a Molotov cocktail in this shoot. So the band showed up, we head over to the mall for wardrobe (vests), and head to the studio. I have a slew of weapons there already from the previous Blessthefall shoot as well as a bat and chain from the A Day To Remember (ftwhh) shoot. We shot outside of my studio against a wall which looked like a semi-desolate area. We did some shots with and with out the Molotov cocktail but obviously fire always makes for a better shot. I was using a beauty dish main blasted to counter the brightness of the fire and two bare parabolic keys while shooting at F14 at a 100th to bleed in the sky and fire but keep it dark and locked in."
