"Every year I cover a convention called Rock and Shock in Worcester, Mass. Which is part horror/movie convention, part concert. This year I teamed up with Noisecreep to do a very cool portrait series of the celebrities and bands at show. One of my favorite shots I took that weekend was of Brian O’Halloran, best known for his role as Dante of Clerks. This image, to me, captures the 'I’m not even supposed to be here today' look that made him a household name, while giving much more personality than a standard headshot. All of the Rock and Shock images were taken with the same lighting as it was a series. Using two bare parabolic keys with flags and a straight forward beauty dish at F8 – 1/200th."
