July 30 - David Ellenburg

The veteran metal musician and guitarist of Dogbane, peacefully passed away, surrounded by family and close friends in North Carolina, due to complications of a severe stroke he had suffered. Inspired by bands like Pentagram and Saint Vitus, Ellenburg co-founded Dogbane in North Carolina along with drummer Jerry Cloer in 2010. The group released its debut album, Residual Alcatraz, in late 2011.
