Peter Steele (Type O Negative vocalist/bassist)

In the ‘00s, after going through a self-admitted midlife crisis, Steele began identifying himself as Roman Catholic after years of being an atheist. “When you start to think about death, you start to think about what’s after it. And then you start hoping there is a God,” Steele said in a 2007 Decibel interview. The talented vocalist/bassist sadly passed away in 2010 from heart failure at the age of 48.
