Spring 2008: Though a 74-date arena tour with David Lee Roth endures an unusual number of cancellations, at tour's end Van Halen announces a $93 million box office gross with nearly one million tickets sold. The band promises there will be more to come very shortly, but again years of prolonged silence follow.
