There are conflicting reports about a possible Poison/Mötley Crüe tour in 2011. Poison vocalist Bret Michaels -- who announced that he would be releasing a solo country album in 2011 -- made another eyebrow-raising comment during a show in Ontario last weekend, revealing that his band Poison would embark on a tour with fellow '80s glam icons Mötley Crüe.

The Windsor Star reported the news that the bands would celebrate their respective 25th and 30th anniversaries with the tour. Once fans of both bands got a hold of the news, they were a wee bit shocked, since Crue bassist Nikki Sixx said in 2004 that he would never tour with Poison again.

Additionally, Crue drummer Tommy Lee shot the rumors down via Twitter. When a fan posted a tweet asking Lee if the tour was happening, he replied simply, yet emphatically, "NO!" Was Michaels being facetious? Were the Crüe are being coy?

Turns out, they weren't. Their manager told People that Michaels was trying to "will" the tour to happen and then Michaels himself eventually admitted to People as well that it was "pipe dream" he was trying to turn into reality.
