Noisecreep recently visited the Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas and we brought you a story about a nine-year-old shredder named Benjamin Bluestein. The pint-sized guitar slinger from Atlanta was back in Sin City this past weekend (April 6) to pay a visit as Def Leppard visited the legendary camp.

As you probably know, Def Leppard has been playing an extended residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and it's garnering all the raves you would imagine. The British rockers seem simply rejuvenated, on top of their game and playing with the sort of wild and youthful enthusiasm that reminds a lot of us why we fell in love with these guys in the first place.

Noisecreep thought it would be a fun idea to bring together one of hard rock's legendary axemen, Def Leppard's Phil Collen, to meet Bluestein and give the young guitarist some tips. Just the day before we did this, Def Lep front man Joe Elliott (along with guitarist Vivian Campbell and bassist Rick Savage) jammed onstage at the camp with Bluestein on "Rock of Ages" and seemed totally blown away by the kid.

A big thank you again to the Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp for having us back, and also a big special thanks to Phil Collen for the sit down with Ben. Just after our meeting, Collen (along with Def drummer Rick Allen) spent the rest of the day jamming with campers, telling stories, giving tips and giving Def fans once-in-a-lifetime experience.
