Chris Cornell Threatens Lawsuit Against Craigslist
Chris Cornell is in the news again today, and it's not because of the recently announced Soundgarden reunion. The singer and his wife Vicky are threatening to sue Craigslist after a listing was posted advertising 'lost' footage of actress Brittany Murphy. Murphy served as maid-of-honor during Cornell's wedding. She died suddenly last month at age 32. Cornell says the footage from 2004 was stolen and therefore violates copyright laws. After the lawsuit threats, Craiglist moderators removed the ad for the footage. So far, there's been no official comment from Cornell's representatives.
Cornell announced Soundgarden's reunion via Twitter on New Year's Eve.
