Godsmack, 'The Oracle' -- Cover Art and Track List

After a four year wait for another studio album, Godsmack fans' desire for a new album will finally be satisfied, when 'The Oracle' releases. They've released the first single from the new album ('Cryin' Like a B----!!'), for sale on iTunes in the beginning of March. They will also be headlining Rockfest 2010 in Kansas City and Rock on the Range in May.

Until May 4, the release date for 'The Oracle' rolls around, Noisecreep is tiding you over as we present the album artwork and track list for the Boston-based band's fifth effort.

Frankly,Godsmack Lover is VERY correct, you know the Boston babes by the way they sound. The massive drum,screaming guitars and kick ass bass line as well as the unmistakeable sound of Mr. Erna! Yes,cryin like a Bitch has similar sound as a previous song BUTTTTTTT it is a total twist on ripping someone a new ass for being shallow! take it for what you will. They said the new album was recorded and mixed in a whole new way, and we were told its going to be a hard ass non stop make Sully wanna stage dive album..so hang on for the ride or jump ship and eat shit!

Whiskey Hangover and Cryin Like A Bitch rock! I have already preordered my copies of The Oracle and can't wait to receive them. As for the person who said the new tracks sound like old Godsmack... I think Godsmack has a unique sound and just like you can always recognize artists like Rush and Ozzy by their unique sounds, I think you will always be able to recognize Godsmack by their unique sound.

Just in case people can't fill in the blanks in this article, the song title, which is printed everywhere else, is 'Cryin Like a Bitch'

I am a huge smack fan, but the song released on iTunes sounds exactly like previous Godsmack songs. Where is the evolution? I hope other songs on the album don't disappoint.
