Korn, 'Korn III: Remember Who You Are' -- Album Art of the Week

Unless you've been living under a rock with no Internet access, you probably know by now that Korn released 'Korn III: Remember Who You Are', their ninth album. It finally ended the seemingly endless wait endured by fans since their last untitled album was released in 2007. Rock and celebrity photographer Joseph Cultice took the photos for this release.

'Korn III' marks a sort of return to their roots with a more raw, less produced sound after a freshly-minted record deal with Roadrunner Records. Reflecting this change is the album art, which is less elaborate, embracing a minimalism with a simple photo and hearkening back to the album art seen on their self-titled debut and their follow-up, 'Life Is Peachy.' The theme of child abuse seen in the first two album covers is also present in 'Korn III.'

One of the singles of the album, 'Oildale (Leave Me Alone),' encapsulates the album's theme of self-identity. Not coincidentally, the photo shoot was done in the California town of the same name.

Korn is currently touring the U.S. on the Mayhem Festival to support the release of 'Korn III.'
