"Working with Lajon from Sevendust was a dream come true," commented (Hed) pe vocalist Jahred in an official statement. "I have always loved Lajon's voice, and was waiting for the right song to get him on. When I wrote the chorus for 'Stand Up,' I immediately knew it was one that Lajon would be perfect for. I have been a fan of Sevendust since the beginning, and this track was a long time coming. Finally after 10-plus years we collaborated and I love what came out of it."
(Hed) pe have recruited impressive guest vocalists on previous efforts. Kittie singer Morgan Lander and System of a Down's Serj Tankian both lent their vocals to tracks on 2000's 'Broke' to excellent results.
The band is currently offering an exclusive, five-song 'Skull & Bonus' CD to fans who pre-order 'Truth Rising' online. The CD will also contain a 30-minute interview with Jahred as he discusses the Truth Movement.
(Hed) pe will be on the road throughout October as direct support for Suicidal Tendencies.
