Bring Me the Horizon Meet Fans, Talk Tattoos -- Video Interview

It was the usual fare -- you know, mid-day sound check, photo shoots in the middle of Times Square, being greeted by screaming 16-year-old girls with sideswept bangs, receiving precious fan art from those same fans, visiting the MTV studios and showing off their new tattoos.
It was all a day in the life of Bring Me the Horizon, who finally sat down to chat with Noisecreep after a busy afternoon in the warm and cozy confines of their dressing room, with only their show ahead of them.
We followed the band to the MTV studio around 3:30 PM, where a throng of fans had lined up around the building and had been standing in the late-Autumn chill for several hours by that time. It became clear that singer Oliver Sykes was the one most fans were clamoring to meet at first, but they also showered buckets of affection on the rest of the BMTH crew. That's dedication.

But one thing Bring Me the Horizon exude that boy bands don't is cred. These "lads on tour" -- which is a tattoo that four-fifths of the band got while on this particular trek -- make brain-imploding metal that grinds your mind and body with little mercy. It's no wonder they're one of the hottest and most critically-acclaimed acts to bum rush their way out of England in quite some time.
The boys talked to Noisecreep about their tattoos, about why the fans are so dedicated at this stage and what they do to inspire such devotion.
A day in the life of Bring Me the Horizon is a bloody hectic one, but we're convinced this band hasn't even grazed the surface of what lies ahead for them.
