Crowbar's 'Let Me Mourn' Is 'Low-Tuned Doom at Its Finest' -- Song Premiere

If there is one way to describe Crowbar's sludge-aholic music, it's mournful. That's not to say it means sad; their music is just slow, deliberate and moves at its own lumbering pace. The New Orleans metallers are premiering another bottom-feeding song, 'Let Me Mourn,' here on Noisecreep, and it's dirtier and nastier than a landfill.

It's slow and barge-like, but still retains Crowbar's signature sense of melody. Just like 'Cemetery Angels,' which we also recently premiered, 'Let Me Mourn' appears on the band's forthcoming eOne debut, 'Sever the Wicked Hand.'

Vocalist/guitarist Kirk Windstein told Noisecreep that 'Let Me Mourn' is "one of my personal favorites on the record. Haunting vocals and melodies. It's low-tuned doom at its finest." We concur.
