Ekotren's 'The End of the Day' Is 'Self-Empowered' -- Song Premiere
Kevin Bires
It packs emotional punch amid guitar crunch, and guitarist Keith Finnell told Noisecreep that it's "the opening song on our new album 'The Dead Of Night.' This song was actually one of the last songs we wrote for the new album, and it turned out to be one of our favorite songs on the record.
He continued, "It's got a kind of self-empowered message behind the lyrics, and really speaks on behalf the band. The message is that we aren't gonna listen to people who tell us to be this, be that, you should do this, etc. We know who we are, and it's us doing what we do."
Ekotren will be touring in support of 'The Dead of Night' beginning Jan. 18, when they hit the road with Ill Niño, Anew Revolution and Fashion Bomb.
