Frontline Brigade Invited to Open for 30 Seconds to Mars in LA
Tim Okain
Some bands have all the luck! Newly formed Los Angeles electro-punk band Frontline Brigade will open for multi-platinum rockers 30 Seconds to Mars at the band's sold out show this Saturday, April 9th at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. The band was personally invited to open the show by 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto.
"Jared has been a big supporter of my music through the years, from S.T.U.N. to Faculty X to Street Drum Corps, and now Frontline Brigade," drummer Bobby Alt told Noisecreep. "He's a great friend and is always inspiring to be around. S.T.U.N. had actually opened for 30 Seconds To Mars in 2002 at the Troubadour, so Frontline Brigade opening for them now in 2011 at the Gibson Amphitheatre is like coming full circle."
Frontline Brigade's debut EP is available here.
Frontline Brigade also features Christopher Jarecki, the husband of former teen queen Alicia Silverstone. The couple is expecting their first child this year.
