Motorhead's Lemmy Goes Rockabilly With The Head Cat

Motörhead bassist/vocalist Lemmy Kilmister is a badass who can do whatever he wants, as far as Noisecreep is concerned. Since he never disappoints us, we are beyond stoked that he is once again working with The HeadCat, which features drummer Slim Jim Phantom of The Stray Cats and guitarist-pianist Danny B. Harvey of Rockats and Lonesome Spurs.
The band's new album, 'Walk the Walk...Talk the Talk' is slated for a July 5th release via Niji Entertainment Group, the record label founded by the late Ronnie James Dio and his wife Wendy prior to Dio's untimely death last May.
The Head Cat effectively fuse rockabilly, punk, blues, and rock into one tasty musical stew. The project formed in 2000, born of an Elvis Presley tribute record.
In addition to vocals and bass, the Lemster plays harmonica on the new album, once again proving that beneath all that whiskey-soaked badass-ness lurks a multi-talented musician. The first single from 'Walk the Walk... Talk the Talk' is 'American Beat,' which includes lyrics written by Lemmy. The band also covers Chuck Berry's 'Let it Rock.'
