Inevitable End Want to Get the Party Started on 'Zen' -- Song Premiere
Relapse Records
Although it's fertile death metal scene gets the lion's share of press attention, Sweden's underground community is offering up much more diversity than it gets credit for. Case in point: Inevitable End. While the Gothenburg based quartet's sound surely features some of death metal's characteristics, they have more in common with the chaotic output of bands like Dillinger Escape Plan and Coalesce.
After signing with Relapse Records, Inevitable End released 'The Severed Inception,' their 2009 debut album. The record received rave reviews across the globe and set up the scene for their next release. On May 24th the Swedes will be releasing 'The Oculus,' their eagerly awaited sophomore album. Noisecreep has the world premiere of 'Zen,' of the tracks from the thrilling record.
"This is punk rock Inevitable End style, complete with some horror picture and surf-rock influences to get the party started," Inevitable End guitarist Marcus Bertilsson told Noisecreep. "And of course it contains blasting drums, eight string two-hand guitar playing, frenetic bass lines and desperate vocals. 'Zen' is about finding truth by looking within one's self."
'The Oculus' will be out May 24th via Relapse Records.
