'That Metal Show' Returns For Eighth Season on August 20th

VH1 Classic's 'That Metal Show' will return for its eighth season on August 20th, airing at 11 PM ET/PT. This year's stable of guests is just as impressive as previous years, if not more impressive.

The season is bookended by heavyweights, starting off with Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath and closing with Lars Ulrich of Metallica. The show always has the A-list of metal appear as guests, and this year is truly the cream of the crop, as Slipknot/Stone Sour singer Corey Taylor and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello also show up for an episode a piece! Ex-Dream Theater skinsman Mike Portnoy appears, as does Jani Lane of Warrant. The door is always open for metal's elite on 'That Metal Show.'

Eddie Trunk, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson are back as the show's hosts, where they debate and discuss all things metal.

The lineup for season eight is as follows:

· 9/03 – Tom Morello and Doug Pinnick
· 9/10 – Corey Taylor, Brad Gillis and Jack Blades
· 9/17 – Scott Ian, Charlie Benante and Snake Sabo
· 9/24 – Sammy Hagar
· 10/1 – Michael Sweet, Jani Lane and Taime Downe
· 10/8 – Mike Portnoy and John Sykes
· 10/15 – Rick Nielsen and Graham Bonnet
· 10/22– Lars Ulrich
