(Update) KISS to Perform at Michael Jackson Tribute, Despite Gene Simmons Calling Him a Pedophile

Update: Since posting this story, TMZ has reported that KISS have been dropped from the concert due to Simmons' negative comments.
A man can change his opinion, can't he? KISS bassist Gene Simmons once referred to the late Michael Jackson as a pedophile after Jackson was already dead, breaking a cardinal rule not to speak ill of the dead. But apparently, The Demon doesn't hold such an opinion any longer, as he will perform at the Michael Jackson tribute show organized by his mother, Katherine Jackson, which is set to take place in Cardiff, Wales on October 8.
In case you forgot, Simmons was declarative and immovable in his statement, saying, "There is no question in my mind he molested those kids. Not a doubt." He continued, "The only sexual references ever made about Michael Jackson that were made by anyone, anywhere around the world, have always been made by kids, and specifically males usually 10 to 14 years of age; never females, that age or older, and never grown men."
We guess Ma Jackson isn't holding those comments against ol' Gene, as she confirmed to CNN that Simmons would be on a bill that includes Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera and countless other pop stars.
