We're well aware that the Metallica and Lou Reed project, dubbed 'Loutallica,' isn't going down easy for metal fans. It's such a hot topic in the rock world right now that even Alice Cooper is offering his two cents on 'Lulu.'
Cooper stated that he finds the partnership so jarring that it would be akin to punk icon Iggy Pop teaming up with Swedish pop legends ABBA. He also said he wants to hear the entire 'Lulu' before making a decision on its merits. "I really want to hear ['Lulu']," Cooper told NME. "Lou Reed's lyrics are dark as can be, and Metallica's this gigantic steroid metal band. How does this gel?"
Gigantic steroid metal band? That sounds like a compliment!
