The Used Form New Record Label, Announce Album for 2012

After a decade together, The Used have split with Warner Music and formed their own label imprint. The Utah post-hardcore outfit have launched Anger Music Group in partnership with Hopeless Records -- the label that helped launched the careers of Thrice and Avenged Sevenfold.

According to Punk News, Anger Music Group is described as an "inclusive art production company" and the first project that the company will produce is The Used's 'Vulnerable,' which will be their fifth album and their first project since splitting from WMG in September.

Frontman Bert McCracken said, "'Vulnerable' is about taking one step back and two steps forward. The sound of the record is as evolved as it possibly could be, it maintains the same emotional integrity as the first record, yet it sounds like the future (and the future sounds bright). 'Vulnerable' is about taking a chance to let the real you shine. This record is for the outcasts, the misfits, the misunderstood, and the ones who have always dared to be themselves. I can't wait for you to hear it."
