Axl Rose Serves Jury Duty

After waiting a ridiculously long time to put out 'Chinese Democracy,' Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose is getting a taste of good ol' fashioned "American democracy." The aging wailer recently completed his jury duty after "after serving four days of the trial process," in Santa Monica, Calif., proving that even in Paradise City, one has to attend to civic duties.

"It was relatively painless," says Rose. "I was fortunate that everyone in the courthouse and jurors were all really great, plus I got to see daylight from a different prospect." We are pretty sure he meant perspective.

Rose recently completed a tour with Guns N' Roses and is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April along with the original incarnation of GNR as well as the Beastie Boys and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
