Vengeance Celebrate 30 Years of Dutch Metal With 'Barbeque' -- Song Premiere

In those three decades, the band has released influential albums such as 'Take It or Leave It' and 'Arabia' in the '80s, and their 2005 comeback record, 'Back in the Ring,' also knocked people out with its balance of meaty guitars and stadium-sized choruses.
This month Vengeance will release 'Crystal Eyes,' their ninth studio album. "After thirty years in this business, you should mature at least a little," Goewie says, "so in that respect 'Crystal Eye' is slightly more serious than most of our previous releases – but of course only to an extent where we don't miss out on the fun of it all."
Noisecreep is proud to bring you the exclusive premiere of 'Barbeque,' the third track off of 'Crystal Eyes.'
'Crystal Eye,' which Goewie composed mostly in collaboration with producer Michael Voss (Mad Max) and which also features a title track by former Vengeance guitarist Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One), consists of a total of 11 songs. Plus 'Whole Lotta Metal,' a number which Tony Martin (ex-Black Sabbath) contributed tailor-made for the band. The album closes with the instrumental 'Jan's End Piece' which features the last guitar solos recorded by Jan Somers, the former Vengeance guitarist who passed away in early 2011 from a heart attack at the age of 46.
The album's sensational all-star cast features drummer Chris Slade (ex-AC/DC), guitarist Keri Kelli (ex-Alice Cooper), and bassist Chris Glen (Michael Schenker Group). "More than ever before, this is a band which consists of friends," comments Goewie.
Vengeance's 'Crystal Eye' will hit North American stores on Feb. 28 via Steamhammer/SPV. Pick up your copy at this link.
