Andrew W.K. Writes a Snowboarding Anthem With 'My Time' -- Song Premiere

The World Snowboarding Championship kicks off today, Feb. 10, in Oslo, Norway, and none other than Andrew W.K. has been named the official "rock 'n' roll ambassador" for the event. The singer will be bringing along his famed New York City club Santos Party House with him to the festivities for some special music events.

Back in November of 2011, our sister site Spinner premiered the video for 'Go Go Go Go,' the first theme song for the Championship, written and recorded by Andrew W.K. & The WSC Band.

Today, Noisecreep is celebrating the event's kick off with an exclusive premiere of 'My Time,' the second song W.K. has written for the World Snowboarding Championship. It's the kind of high-energy kick in the butt we've come to expect from the man in the white t-shirt.

The song recalls the Wagnerian rock of vintage Meat Loaf shot through with the urgency of modern punk rock. We think it's another classic anthem from W.K.
