Slayer Valentine's Day Candy Jar: Thrash Gods Have Holiday Covered

They say heavy metal will rot your brain. Now it will rot your teeth, too. Days ahead of Valentine's Day, Slayer have added a special candy jar to their inventory of online merchandise, Blabbermouth.net reports. Standing 3.5 inches tall, the jar comes filled with red and black candies -- each emblazoned with a word like "destroy," "hate" or "kill." Some feature the band's logo.

It's only $12.99, so even if it's not the most romantic gift you can give this Tuesday, it's certainly among the cheapest. And as the webstore helpfully points out, "Afterwards, the jar can be reused a stash tin, dude." Let it never be said Slayer doesn't know its audience.

And should fellas have luck with the candy jars and find themselves, well, getting lucky, Slayer once again has them covered -- literally. Last year, the thrash pioneers unveiled their own brand of condoms.
