Adrenaline Mob Compare Their Lives to 'This Is Spinal Tap' -- Exclusive Video
Charles Epting
As we reported last week, Noisecreep recently had the pleasure of hanging out with Adrenaline Mob while the band was in Los Angeles doing some press and shooting a new video from their just released debut album, Omertà, which debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard Rock Album chart.
Featuring drummer Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater, Flying Colors), vocalist Russell Allen (Symphony X), guitarist Mike Orlando and bassist John Moyer (Disturbed), Adrenaline Mob is planning a number of European festival gigs this summer before heading home stateside to start playing shows into the fall.
Noisecreep taped its discussion with the band just outside the La Brea Tar Pits, where we'd met with them to shoot some pictures in a nearby sculpture garden. What follows on video is the part of our interview where the Mob start talking about their bold live shows - as well as the Spinal Tap-moments that they occasionally run into - something it seems every major band talks about given the chance. There's just something about that movie that will probably affect almost every band, forever.
Check out the video interview below the cut.
