Fans of forward-thinking metal are wetting their pants in anticipation of Intrinsic, the sophomore album from Indiana's The Contortionist. Working with Eyal Levi (Daath, Job for a Cowboy) and Jason Suecof (Trivium, DevilDriver), the album delivers a dazzling combination of technical wizardy and infectious song hooks.

The Contortionist are currently out on a headlining tour with support from fellow tech-metal greats Jeff Loomis, Chimp Spanner and 7 Horns 7 Eyes.
