Hooded Menace Teach Us About the 'Effigies of Evil' -- Song Premiere

Relapse Records

Last year, Finnish death-doom priests Hooded Menace inked a deal with the folks at Relapse Records. It wasn't a surprising move since the band's two prior albums and handful of split EPs were met with acclaim from sites such as Metal-Archives and Global Domination.

The first release under the new label deal will be Effigies of Evil, Hooded Menace's upcoming third album. Fans of early Paradise Lost, Autopsy and Bolt Thrower will be all over the record's filthy mix of doom-crusted riffs and tempos. Hitting stores on Sept. 11, the album will be issued on CD, double LP and digital, including a special deluxe edition vinyl release, which comes with a limited edition 7" featuring covers by Witchfinder General and Eternal Darkness.

Noisecreep is proud to present the exclusive premiere of "Effigies of Evil," the title track to Hooded Menace's latest album.
