Suicide Silence Singer Dead: Mitch Lucker Dies in Motorcycle Accident

Mitch Lucker, the singer of extreme metal band Suicide Silence, has been killed in a motorcycle crash.

The accident, which is under investigation, occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Lucker passed away this morning, Thursday, Nov. 1. He was pronounced dead at 6:17AM at the UCI Medical Center in Orange County. This news was confirmed by the Press Enterprise, which spoke to the Orange County Coroner's office. He was 28.

Lucker, who was known for his colorful, heavily tattooed look, leaves behind a young daughter.

Suicide Silence released The Black Crown in 2011 and were working on new material for their upcoming debut release on Nuclear Blast America.
