Tool Guitarist Adam Jones Proposes to Girlfriend at WWE Royal Rumble
WWE.com
A wrestling pay-per-view event, loaded with sweat, testosterone and dramatic plotlines, essentially serves as the dude version of a soap opera. It isn't exactly the most romantic setting in the world. But it's exactly where Tool guitarist Adam Jones popped the question to his girlfriend Korin.
Jones proposed to his lady love at the Jan. 27 Royal Rumble event. The guitarist is supposedly a major WWE fan and even performed the national anthem at WWE SummerSlam in August 2011.
It was certainly an original and out-of-the-box way to pop the question -- we'll give him that much.
Congrats to Adam Jones and Korin on their upcoming nuptials. Maybe they will get married at a future WWE event, with wrestlers serving as ushers and referees officiating the vows.
In other Tool news, the band is working on a new album, it's first since 2006's 10,000 Days.
